My goal as a photographer is to capture your life's treasured moments in the most natural way possible - so memories of love, family, happiness, and blessings may be remembered for generations to come.

It is my passion for capturing the happiest days and happiest moments of what we get to experience as humans. I believe these moments deserve to be remembered in their most natural environment, whatever that looks like for you and your loved ones - in the home, on the family farm, on a hiking trail, at a favorite park, or a favorite "hidden gem" of a spot around town, we will find the scenery that best fits your desired look for the photo session while staying true to who you and your family are to the core.
What is lifestyle photography?
Lifestyle photography combines the best elements of portrait, landscape, and documentary into its own category of photography that will change your perspective of family photos.
A lifestyle session is fun and relaxed, allowing the photographer to get a sense of the essence of who you and your family are and the love and connection you share with each other. These sessions are very far from rigid, structured, posed.
A lifestyle photographer wants to observe you and your family as you interact with each other in a setting where you are most comfortable. That's where you get the genuine smiles and laughter. Gentle direction and posing "prompts" are provided in these sessions, to allow a real connection and real responses from your loved ones.

a little about me
My photography background goes back to when I was attending college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a Broadcast Production degree in 2016. Introductory courses involved learning how to use a DSLR camera while daily self-led excursions through the city with a specific assignment allowed me to zone in all my newfound knowledge about HOW the camera operated and witness firsthand the mechanics snapping my first "professional" photographs.
Since then, I've been hooked.
I started taking photography more seriously in 2020 when I began camping and backpacking across Pennsylvania. I so deeply wanted to learn to take amazing photographs of the way the light falls across a morning waterfall, the intense detail in a close encounter with wildlife, the way the skies open up after midnight on the evening of a new moon, the milky way absolutely dazzling.
The photography bug took me a step further when I began working as a portrait photographer for Lifetouch, the company who handles "Picture Day" for most school districts across Pennsylvania in 2021. I adored this job and the boost to my skillset from working there. I remember always having such a deep sense of pride about taking great photographs I knew parents and grandparents at home and extended families and friends would cherish for a lifetime.
I began my journey into lifestyle photography (I didn't know that's what style of photos I like to take until recently) when I was the photographer for my brother and sister-in-law's maternity, newborn, and milestone photos in 2023. Family sessions for much of my extended family and my friends and their children. Seniors for my younger coworkers entering their last year of high school.
My favorite part about all of it? No two sessions are ever the same.
I'm so excited for this opportunity to expand my skills and to meet local families and build connections throughout my community that has been so welcoming in South Central Pennsylvania!
